Dress Code for Graduand
1.0 Dress Code
1.1 It is COMPULSORY for all male graduands to wear a black or dark blue lounge suit with black coloured tie or black Baju Melayu (cekak musang) with dark coloured sampin.
1.2 It is COMPULSORY for all graduands to wear a pair of formal black coloured covered shoes with black coloured socks.
1.3 It is COMPULSORY for all graduands to dress in formal and appropriate attire in accordance to the dress code stipulated by the University.
2.0 Grooming Policy
Male graduands are REQUIRED to keep their hair short and neat, ensuring it does not reach the collar of their shirt. The University reserves the right to bar male graduands from participating in the convocation ceremony if their hair exceeds the required length.
1.0 Dress Code
1.1 All female graduands should dress decently and abide to the official ceremony dress code as listed below:
-The length of the skirt/trousers should be loose and cover the ankle.
-The long sleeve shirt (reaching the wrists) should be neatly buttoned.
-The shirt should cover all parts of the body below the neck.
1.2 It is COMPULSORY for all graduands to wear a pair of formal black court shoes with black/light brown socks.
1.3 It is COMPULSORY for all graduands to dress in modest, formal and appropriate attire in accordance to the dress code stipulated by the University.
2.0 Grooming Policy
Female graduands without the hijabs/scarves need to ensure that their hair are neatly tied up or groomed in such a way to look well-groomed.
Dress Code for Guest
Parents/guests are required to dress formally according to the following:

- Round-neck t-shirts are not allowed.
- Closed- toed shoes

IMPORTANT
The convocation ceremony is a formal occasion. Graduands and guests are advised to adhere to the dress code as stated above. The University has the authority to prevent graduands and guests from attending the ceremony if they do not follow the rules and regulations for the convocation ceremony.
