Hebei GEO University (HGU), founded in 1953, is one of the five universities affiliated to the former Ministry of Geology, and is a provincial key university jointly supported by the Ministry of Land and Resources and the Government of Hebei Province. As the first educational institution affiliated to the former Ministry of Geology in New China setting up programs of Economics and Management, HGU has been adhering to the core mission of “providing talents and technology support to the sustainable development of resources and environment.
